The SLOPE Framework
We developed the SLOPE Framework as a way to think through leadership development. This can be applied for both a specific context and moment as well as a lifespan approach to ongoing leadership development.
- Self – understanding and improving how to lead one’s self.
- Learning – continuous learning across SLOPE and functional learning for task specific application.
- Others – enhancing one’s abilities to understand and manage relationships, and to better interact, collaborate and lead with others.
- Practice – empowering opportunities to display or try leadership.
- Environment – expanding awareness about the possibilities and challenges of leadership in different contexts, cultures, and systems.
We use our in-depth understanding of the framework categories and their interactions to partner with you in analyzing your current state, needs, and desired future outcomes. One of our favorite questions is “What’s your leadership slope?” And as with our framework, it applies to both individuals and organizations.
Our Logo
Our logo is simple and stands for our beliefs and aspirations.
The circle represents the globe and our desire to see everyone everywhere have access to leadership development.
The line represents both individual and collective human growth which is not always straight but ideally trends upward over time.
These two combine to represent our hope that all people will have exposure to the skills, tools, attitudes, beliefs, and competencies to improve themselves and the world around them.
